United Community Action Partnership, Inc. seeks a Human Resources Director to lead HR operations, develop staff, and ensure compliance with employment laws.

The role is based in Marshall or Willmar, MN and focuses on aligning policies and programs with agency goals to foster a people-focused workplace. You will supervise the HR team, manage recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and ongoing staff development while maintaining accurate HR records and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field plus three (3) years of management/administration or supervision experience or an equivalent combination.
• Preferred: Additional experience in HR leadership, supervision, union contracts, and organizational administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR Operations: Oversee HR functions, policies, systems, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
• Manage & Develop Staff: Supervise HR team members through recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and ongoing development.
• Ensure Compliance & Administration: Maintain compliance with employment laws while administering compensation, benefits, and personnel policies.
• Partner with Leadership: Collaborate with leadership to provide guidance on personnel matters and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.
