Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide support for Windows, macOS, Chrome OS, and mobile devices.
• Document incident details including configuration changes.
• Resolve incidents and guide users to solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain IT environments.
• Support service desk activities and incident/problem management.

Technology Support Specialist (2 Positions Available)

Location: Technology

CLASSIFICATION: Class Level 5

RATE OF PAY: $28.51

HOURS PER DAY: 8

START & ENDING TIME: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

WORKING DAYS PER YEAR: 260

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a computer related field, preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One or more year's experience with Windows, MAC, Chrome, and mobile device support.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to focus on resolution support.
• Ability to document incident details.
• Understanding of current IT environments
• Ability to understand key systems and technologies associated with this position.
• Ability to document incident details including configuration changes.
• Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting and resolving problems with PC, Chrome, and MAC operating systems.
• Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting and resolving problems with iPads.
• Ability to understand incident and problem management activities.
• Ability to understand service desk activities.
• Ability to understand configuration management procedures.
