Affiliated Engineers, Inc. in Boston, MA is seeking a Technology Services Designer II to advance energy-efficient building solutions. You will translate concepts into concrete layouts, interpret basis of design, and collaborate across teams to meet client needs.

You will leverage Revit/AutoCAD, coordinate with users and consultants, and apply NEC, TIA, BICSI, and FGI standards to deliver robust, compliant designs for complex facilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of building systems design experience including structured cabling and low voltage electrical systems.
• Understanding of building systems spatial requirements and design coordination.
• Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD; willingness to learn additional technologies.
• Knowledge of NEC, TIA, BICSI, FGI standards.

Responsibilities

• Convert system design concepts into layouts by interpreting basis of design and gathered information.
• Collaborate with users, consultants, and field surveys to inform designs.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure compliant, efficient solutions.
