Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. in Kansas is seeking a Technology Services Designer I/II to translate design concepts into precise layouts by interpreting basis of design data, project requirements, field surveys, and code research.

You will support building systems design, develop Revit MEP models, coordinate with senior designers and consultants, and help ensure NEC, TIA, BICSI standards compliance across electrical, security, AV, IT networks, and smart building technologies.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience or training in building systems design - technology/low voltage electrical systems.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP.
• Knowledge of NEC, TIA, and BICSI standards.
• Ability to coordinate building systems with other disciplines.
• Willingness to learn Smart/Intelligent Building Technologies.

Responsibilities

• Translate design concepts into layouts by interpreting basis of design data and site surveys.
• Coordinate with senior designers, users, consultants, and field personnel.
