Job summary
Broward County Public Schools is seeking a Technology Support Specialist II to ensure continuous availability of district technology at Atlantic Technical College in Coconut Creek. You will provide training, troubleshoot hardware and software, and collaborate with staff and district teams to maintain a stable digital learning environment.
The role requires proficiency across Windows, Mac, and iOS, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Must have basic hardware and software knowledge.
- Strong familiarity with Windows, Mac, and iOS operating systems.
- Experience installing and maintaining software.
- Ability to manage and maintain computer networks (Virtual and Local Area).
- Proficient in enterprise applications (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email, cloud storage).
- Effective communication and technical skills for the position.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance training and guidance to site staff and students.
- Maintain an effective digital learning environment at the location.
- Support adherence to district network security standards.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software acquisitions.
- Install and assist with approved hardware and software as needed.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs or upgrades.
