TrulyHired is seeking an Information Technology Support Technician to be the first point of contact for Amherst Middle School staff, faculty and students. The role provides technical assistance and helps maintain campus technology operations within the SAU-39 IT team.
The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent IT experience, 2+ years in help desk, and hands-on experience with Intune, TCP/IP, AD, Windows and MacOS. A valid clearance and U.S. citizenship/residency are required.
The Information Technology Support Technician is one of the first points of contact for Amherst Middle School staff, faculty and students seeking technical assistance for campus technology issues. They serve as members of the SAU-39's Information Technology Team by providing technical support and maintaining the smooth operation of the district's technical operations.
The Schools: The Mont Vernon Village School enrolls 191 students, Clark/Wilkins Elementary School has 624 students, Amherst Middle School has 624 students, and Souhegan Cooperative High School enrolls 829 students. The total PK-12, multi-district enrollment is 2268.
In addition to the schools of SAU #39 being of high quality, Souhegan High School is a member of the Coalition of Essential Schools and serves as the high school for the students of the Amherst and Mont Vernon communities. SAU #39, serving as the Central Office to the schools, is located at the historic Brick School on the Amherst green. Governance: SAU #39 and its schools are governed by four boards of education: Amherst and Mont Vernon each have five member school boards. Souhegan High School is governed by a seven member board. The fourth board is the SAU #39 board comprising members of the three boards and meets to approve a central office budget, to elect a new superintendent of schools, and to develop policies common to the school districts. The incoming Superintendent of Schools may expect, on average, one school board meeting per week for regular school business.
The Central Office: The Superintendent of Schools, as the educational leader of SAU #39, is responsible for all aspects of the students' education, the schools and the Central Office. There is very strong support by certificated, experienced professionals that constitute the SAU #39 Leadership Team.
