Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Director, Technology Strategy and Program Governance to define strategic direction, governance, and operating rhythms for the Third-Party Administrator and Payer Solutions Technology organization within the CVS Health ecosystem.

Reporting to the Head of Technology, this role partners with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Finance and HR to drive modernization, portfolio health, and measurable business outcomes across Meritain Health and payer solutions, delivering

Qualifications

10+ years leading enterprise technology strategy and transformation.
10+ years partnering with senior tech and business executives to influence investment priorities and operating models.
10+ years overseeing technology portfolios, governance, and capital investments in large organizations.
8+ years creating executive presentations, board materials, and leadership communications for C-suite audiences.
5+ years collaborating across software engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, architecture, product, and operations.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve multi-year technology strategy, executive roadmap, and investment priorities.
Lead the technology organization’s operating rhythm with governance and planning processes.
Oversee portfolio governance, capital planning, and financial management to align with business priorities.
Monitor delivery performance, risks, dependencies, and portfolio health for executive transparency.
Partner with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Operations, Finance, HR and stakeholders to drive technology transformation outcomes.
