Job summary

Ohio CAT Rental Store, a division of Ohio Machinery Co., seeks a Director of Technology to drive the dealership’s technology strategy, adoption, and growth across customer productivity and profitability. You will lead initiatives involving Visionlink, Cat Grade, Telematics and other digital tools, collaborating with Sales, Rental, Marketing, and IT teams.

Travel up to 50–60% is expected as you develop technology-enabled offerings, manage KPIs, and maintain key partnerships with Caterpillar,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, IT or related field is required.
• Minimum 10 years in heavy equipment, construction technology or related industries.
• At least 5 years in leadership or management roles.
• Ability to travel up to 50–60% with overnight stays as needed.
• Experience with Caterpillar, SITECH, Trimble, telematics and fleet management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the dealer's technology growth strategy and annual plan.
• Lead technology initiatives to improve productivity, safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Sales, Rental, Product Support, Marketing, Digital and IT teams.
• Manage relationships with Caterpillar, Trimble and other partners.
• Oversee technology deployment, training, support and ROI tracking.
