Job summary

Shepherd Insurance, LLC is seeking a Director of Technology Strategy and Execution to translate priorities across IT, Data, Security, AI, and vendors into concrete plans and measurable progress. You will partner with technology and business leaders to strengthen execution discipline and move strategic initiatives from discussion to completion.

This role will lead integration workstreams, build repeatable practices, and establish governance with clear ownership, decisions, and reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred; equivalent experience.
At least eight years in program management, PMO, or technology leadership.
Experience with mergers/acquisitions and post-integration is desirable.
Experience with insurance/financial services or regulated industries preferred.
PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the execution framework for acquisition integration with workstreams and accountability.
Build repeatable integration practices to reduce duplication and cost.
Lead cross-functional initiatives from intake to completion with clear ownership.
Establish governance, reporting cadence, and decision-ready status across IT, data, security, and vendors.
Track execution performance, issue resolution, and partner accountability.
Identify consolidation and value-recovery opportunities in vendor agreements.
