Job summary

Germain Lexus of Naples is seeking a Technology Specialist to engage customers and staff with detailed explanations of features, connectivity, and services. You will support the sales and service team, assist with test drives and second deliveries, and ensure vehicles are prepared and ready for demonstrations.

The role requires a background in retail sales or customer service, plus experience explaining technology to customers.

Qualifications

• Must have proven background in retail sales and/or customer service.
• Experience explaining technology and features to customers.
• Proficient with MS Office and related tools.
• Ideal candidate has Luxury customer care experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current knowledge of products and technologies to assist customers and colleagues.
• Stay informed about competitor products and technologies.
• Collaborate with Sales Staff and managers to understand customer interests and preferences.
• Meet and greet customers to begin the sales process.
• Assist with test drives and handover to the sales consultant.
• Prepare test drive vehicles (fuel, cleanliness, preheating/cooling, refreshments, navigation setup).
• Coordinate second delivery with Connect activation and additional explanations.

As a Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for working directly with customers and sales/service staff by providing detailed explanations of innovative services and all aspects of features, technology, connectivity and general questions.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain current knowledge of products, technologiesand trends to provide to customers and colleagues

• Be informed about the competitor products and technologies

• Work with Sales Staff and managers on an as needed basis, to carry out analyses and find out interests/specific preferences of the customers

• Meet and greet customers to begin Sales Process.

• Execution of test drive (support activities for the sales consultant) and detailed handover of the customer to the sales consultant

• Prepare test drive car in advance (fuel, cleanliness, preheat/cool down car in winter/summer, place refreshments, enter suitable radio channel and exciting test drive route in navigation system)

• Preparation and complete execution of second delivery (Connect activation, additional explanations and other services, if not done in the first delivery)

Requirements:

• Must have a proven background in retail sales and or/customer service

• Background using selling, training, and/or explaining technology and complex features and processes to customers

• Proficient with MS office product suite

• Ideal candidate has experience in Luxury Customer Care/Customer Service Position
