Job summary

The Technology Solutions Specialist at Pearson independently owns business analysis for PPA system enhancements, product improvements, integrations, operational changes, and reporting/data initiatives.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Data, QA, Client Services, Operations, and business stakeholders to understand business needs, define functional and non-functional requirements, document workflows, analyze dependencies, and support delivery readiness.

• Lead requirements elicitation for initiatives and changes.
• Use AI tools to accelerate drafting and analysis.
• Ensure requirements are clear, traceable and aligned to outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation for initiatives, enhancements, and changes.
• Translate needs into functional/non-functional requirements, user stories, data mappings, and processes.
• Decompose approved requirements into backlog items and tickets with stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation as single source of truth across product/process notes.
• Identify automation or AI-enabled improvements for repetitive tasks.
• Support validation readiness and ensure clear acceptance criteria.
