Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Technology Solutions Specialist to own business analysis for PPA system enhancements and data initiatives. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Data, QA, and operations to define requirements, document workflows, and support delivery readiness.

You will manage ambiguity, ensure clear and actionable requirements, and drive system changes that align with Pearson business outcomes. The role emphasizes collaboration and data-driven improvements within a dynamic

Qualifications

Translate business language into clear system requirements and technical context.
Experience with enterprise systems, integrations, APIs, reporting, SQL/data analysis.
IIBA or Agile certification or Pearson partner certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Lead requirements elicitation for initiatives, enhancements, and system changes.
Translate business needs into functional/non-functional requirements and user stories.
Use AI tools to accelerate requirement drafting and stakeholder synthesis.
Use AI-powered data analysis to identify trends, bottlenecks, and insights.
Analyze current-state processes and recommend future-state improvements.
Evaluate system impacts across Pearson applications, APIs, data stores, and reporting.
Decompose requirements into backlog items and tickets with cross-functional teams.
Facilitate backlog refinement, data alignment sessions, and stakeholder reviews.
Maintain a single source of truth for product/process documentation.
