Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Technology Solutions Specialist to independently own business analysis for PPA system enhancements, product improvements, integrations, and reporting initiatives. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Data, QA, Client Services, Operations, and stakeholders to define requirements and document workflows that align to Pearson business outcomes.

You will manage ambiguity, decompose requirements into backlog items, and support readiness for delivery, QA, and UAT, exploring

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Typically 2-3 years of business analysis or technology delivery experience.
Experience with Agile delivery, SDLC, Jira/Azure DevOps, Confluence/SharePoint.
Experience with enterprise systems, APIs, reporting, SQL/data analysis.

Responsibilities

Lead requirements elicitation for initiatives, enhancements, and system changes.
Translate business needs into functional/non-functional requirements and user stories.
Use AI tools to accelerate requirement drafting and stakeholder synthesis.
Analyze data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and reporting insights.
Decompose requirements into backlog items and technical tickets with stakeholders.
Maintain documentation as a single source of truth and communicate scope/risks clearly.
