Job summary

Pearson Technology Solutions is seeking a Technology Solutions Specialist to own business analysis for PPA system enhancements, product improvements, integrations, and reporting initiatives.

You will work with Product, Engineering, Data, QA, and Operations to define requirements, document workflows, and ensure alignment with Pearson outcomes. This role emphasizes AI‑assisted analysis and a data‑driven approach to improve efficiency and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–3 years of business analysis, systems analysis, or technology delivery experience.
• Experience with Agile delivery, SDLC, Jira/Azure DevOps, Confluence/SharePoint; data analysis a plus.
• Familiarity with enterprise systems, APIs, data mapping, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation for initiatives, enhancements, and system changes.
• Translate business needs into functional and non‑functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Use approved AI tools to accelerate requirement drafting, stakeholder synthesis, and process docs.
• Use AI‑driven data analysis to identify trends, bottlenecks, and reporting insights.
• Decompose approved requirements into backlog items and technical tickets with cross‑functional teams.
• Maintain documentation as a single source of truth for product/process notes and mappings.
• Communicate scope, risks, dependencies, and decisions clearly to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for automation and workflow standardization.
• Support validation readiness; QA/UAT remain responsible for testing.
