Position Summary
The Technology Shipping Clerk packages configured products for shipment via freight or FedEx, ensuring they arrive undamaged and easy to open. The role involves working under tight deadlines, collaborating with warehouse technicians, and assisting with other warehouse duties as needed.

Responsibilities

1. Verifying equipment matches orders.
2. Following shipping instructions and seeking clarification when needed.
3. Packaging products to arrive in good condition.
4. Completing packaging promptly.
5. Using the company’s database and FedEx software to ship packages, ensuring tracking info is available.
6. Communicating shipping exceptions to sales.
7. Assisting receiving technicians when possible.
8. Entering orders and stock transfers into the database.
9. Occasionally driving company vehicle for deliveries and pickups.
10. Driving forklift safely as required.
11. Notifying management when supplies are low.
12. Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years shipping or warehouse experience with technical equipment.
• Physical ability to perform packing tasks.
• Good driving record and insurable.
• Willingness to work overtime and overnight travel.
