Job summary

Baker Group in the United States is seeking a Project Manager – Technology to develop client relationships and drive revenue across Security, Parking Systems and Fire Alarm solutions, spanning sales and project execution from prospecting to turnover.

You will coordinate projects, manage financials, participate in meetings, and maintain client satisfaction, with emphasis on long-term 'Client for Life' relationships and cross-selling across Baker Group business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Sales/Project management.
• Experience in Security or Fire systems.
• Experience in estimating and managing Security or Fire projects.
• Proven ability to build and grow customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Understand Building Security, Fire Alarm and Parking Systems.
• Offer and implement solutions to customers through engineering and field personnel.
• Continuously develop relationships with existing customers and pursue long-term revenue opportunities.
• Educate customers on Baker Group capabilities and cross-sell across business units.
• Utilize internal estimating software and standard product selections to develop solutions and review with team.
• Act as Account Manager/Project Manager or single point of contact with customer during project execution.
• Attend scheduling meetings with Operations Manager and assist with scheduling field labor.
• Attend project meetings and provide written/verbal communication on info requests, proposals, etc.
• Initiate turnover meetings to engineering and field discussing scope, safety, timelines.
• Procure subcontracts as required and obtain multiple bids.
• Use standard documents for business development, turnovers, subcontracts, etc.
• Manage projects to ensure financial success.
• Accurate daily time and equipment reporting.
