Job summary

Truist in the United States is seeking a seasoned governance professional within the IRO organization to oversee technology risk across multiple domains. You will partner with Enterprise Technology and business units, advise on risk topics, and drive continuous process improvements while delivering executive reporting and regulatory deliverables.

You will coordinate governance across functions, monitor milestones, and ensure timely action on risk programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of banking, technology, operations or risk management experience.
• Strong business acumen, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with credibility across management levels.
• Consistent execution and delivery of high-quality work products.
• Comfort with data and applying analysis to derive insights.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent risk oversight for Truist Technology and related units.
• Serve as SME and steward of the Technology Risk Framework.
• Assess technology risk and adequacy of controls to support business outcomes.
• Foster proactive risk culture through collaboration with technology teams.
• Review and challenge outcomes of first-line risk programs.
• Monitor regulatory, compliance and audit matters for assigned area.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects with enterprise impact.
• Operate effectively in matrix environments.
