Job summary

Experis seeks a hands-on Technology Resilience Specialist to design, govern, and validate enterprise resilience across hybrid cloud and on‑prem environments in Charlotte, NC. This role leads DR, cyber recovery, backup testing, and workload recovery, partnering with infrastructure, cloud, application, and security teams to close vulnerability gaps.

The position emphasizes governance, recovery strategy, cloud-native planning, and regulatory alignment, with hybrid onsite work 2–3 days weekly.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of Technology Resilience, Disaster Recovery, Infrastructure Operations, Cloud Operations, or SRE experience.
• Deep knowledge of RTO/RPO, backup/recovery, failover/failback, business continuity, and cyber recovery frameworks.
• Familiarity with AWS and Azure plus data center tech (VMware, Windows Server, Linux).
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Governance & Readiness: support the Technology Resilience Program across hybrid environments and BCM policies/regulatory expectations.
• Recovery Architecture & Strategy: evaluate recovery designs for apps in AWS, Azure, and data centers; define backup strategies and failover mechanisms.
• Resilience & DR Testing: coordinate end-to-end recovery testing and track remediation plans to resolution.
• Cloud Resilience: assist in cloud resilience governance across Azure and AWS; support mapping and native cloud recovery planning.
• Cyber Recovery & Infrastructure Protection: assess recovery readiness for core services and participate in tabletop exercises.
• Audit & Risk Compliance: maintain testing evidence for audits and regulatory examinations.
