Job summary

The Judge Group is assisting a client in Tempe, AZ to hire a Disaster Recovery Specialist. The role focuses on assessing, testing, and helping implement infrastructure solutions with the Resiliency Team in a long-term contract that is hybrid in the Tempe area.

Responsibilities include updating DR and PiTR plans, conducting DR testing within SLAs, coordinating DR efforts across engineering and operations, and identifying gaps from audits or assessments to strengthen resiliency.

Qualifications

• 3-4+ years of Disaster Recovery experience.
• Hands-on experience across on-premises and cloud technologies including Control-M, database, ETL, platform (mainframe, iSeries, VMWare, Unix/Linux, Windows) messaging, middleware, monitoring, operating systems, networking, storage, and virtualization.

Our client is looking for a Disaster Recovery Specialist to assess, test, and help to implement various infrastructure solutions with the Resiliency Team

This is a long term contract that is hybrid in the Tempe area

Responsibilities:

• Manage the update and testing of DR Plans, Point In Time Recovery (PiTR) Plans, and DR Testing of those plans within SLAs without extension
• Work with the Engineering and Operations Managers across the Infrastructure towers
• Coordinate disaster recovery for new Infrastructure technologies
• Identify and remediate Infrastructure gaps identified by the control teams or audit, or through internal disaster recovery assessments

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience across multiple on-premises and cloud technologies including Control-M, database, ETL, platform (mainframe, iSeries, VMWare, Unix/Linux, Windows) messaging, middleware, monitoring, operating systems, networking, storage, and virtualization
• 3-4+ years of Disaster Recovery experience
