Job summary

BDOADVANTAGE is seeking a Project Manager to drive technology development projects from initiation to closure. You will coordinate with product management, software developers, and deployment teams to ensure on-time, on-scope delivery within budget.

The role requires strong PM experience across waterfall and agile methods and the ability to mentor distributed teams. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years in project management for tech projects; Scrum Master or PMI-ACP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Business, Project/Program Management, or Information Technology preferred.
• Five (5) years of experience as a project manager, project coordinator, or similar role, with a focus on technology development projects and software development lifecycle, required.
• Experience mentoring distributed/remote teams, required.
• Experience in audit, assurance or accounting professional services industry, preferred.
• Scrum Master or Agile Certified Practitioner, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads the planning and implementation of technology development projects within the BDOADVANTAGE portfolio.
• Work with Product and Project Owners to ensure project alignment with product objectives and company goals.
• Apply PM practices across related initiatives managing timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple projects.
• Utilize a hybrid PM approach—waterfall and agile—to manage timelines, scope, and resources.
• Review and analyze project financials and budget to actual projections.
• Use PM tools to track progress, manage resources, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication among project teams and stakeholders to ensure clear objectives and deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Maintain project documentation and conduct post-project evaluations.
