Job summary

IMEG Corporation is seeking a Technology Project Designer in the Naperville area to lead design efforts for IT cabling, AV, security, and other low-voltage systems. You will create detailed designs, calculations, and specifications while coordinating with clients and cross-functional teams.

The role supports projects in healthcare and mission-critical markets, with hybrid work, up to 50% travel, and collaboration across education and institutional sectors.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/related field or equivalent required; 3+ years in building design consulting.
• Or an associate/BIM cert with 7+ years in building design or construction.
• Strong design, analytical, and IT networking knowledge relevant to low-voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for IT structured cabling, audio/video, security and other low-voltage systems.
• Create designs, specs, calculations per code and IMEG standards.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and maintain relationships.
• Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling to meet deadlines.
• Perform in-process design reviews and ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers for integrated solutions.
