Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a Tech Paraeducator in Minnesota to provide technology support within the school building. You will troubleshoot devices, coordinate with leadership and district technology personnel, and ensure equipment is functioning properly for daily operations and district tests.

The role requires good customer service, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Hours are full-time, 184 days, 7.5 hours per day, with benefits for positions 6+ hours daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support staff in using technology equipment (computers, printers, cameras, projectors, iOS devices, TVs).
• Maintain and manage technology equipment to ensure proper function.
• Coordinate with building leadership and district tech personnel on work direction and needs.
• Maintain software updates and inventory, and prepare computers for state/district tests.
