Job summary

Truist is seeking an experienced technology operations professional to implement and govern systems across domains. You will design and refine approaches, driving improvements aligned with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.

The role requires collaboration with vendors and internal teams, strong analysis of observability data, and a focus on security, reliability, and production stability across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in technology operations.
• Advanced understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, security, compliance, and risk management.
• Proven track record in technology governance, strategic planning, and operational excellence.
• Strong experience with Java ecosystem and patching (Oracle Java), Middleware platforms like WebLogic/WebSphere on Linux/Windows.

Responsibilities

• Delivers technology operations for assigned systems, meeting targets for performance, availability, reliability, and security.
• Owns and executes defined processes, contributing to standards, runbooks, and governance patterns.
• Leads components of larger initiatives by planning, designing, and implementing solutions.
• Analyzes tools and processes, evaluates emerging technologies, and implements efficiency improvements.
• Provides guidance and coaching through design reviews, troubleshooting, and sharing best practices.
