Capital Group seeks a Technology Operations Senior Manager to lead core technology operations, drive reliability across cloud and on‑premise platforms, and champion AI-enabled automation. You will shape operating models, partner with senior leaders, and oversee a distributed team while managing budgets and strategic investments.

The role emphasizes incident leadership, data-driven decision making, and collaboration with vendors to optimize performance and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience managing global teams and complex operational environments.
• Strong strategic thinking with experience developing and executing operational strategy tied to long-term business objectives.
• Experience shaping operating models, defining scope, roles, and decision boundaries in evolving organizations.
• Proven ability to lead high-stakes incidents with composure, clarity, and executive presence.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise IT operations, including ITIL frameworks and regulatory/compliance requirements.
• Track record of delivering modernization, automation, and data-driven operational outcomes.
• Ability to develop adaptive staffing and capability plans aligned to evolving organizational needs.
• Trusted advisor to senior leaders, capable of influencing priorities and investment decisions.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Continuous learner with experience applying AI technologies to operational or business problems.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve operational strategy for foundational technology services.
• Translate strategy into operating models, roadmaps, and staffing plans.
• Partner with senior leaders to shape future-state technology operations organization.
• Demonstrate disciplined focus on reliability across cloud and on-premise platforms.
• Lead and evolve multiple technology operations capabilities.
• Drive adoption of AI-enabled and automation-first practices to reduce operating costs.
• Promote a data-driven operations model using metrics and telemetry.
• Demonstrate calm leadership during high-severity incidents and communicate with executives.
• Drive operations cost optimization and efficiency across the portfolio.
• Establish resilience, recoverability, and sustainability standards and enforce them.
• Ensure ITSM adherence (Event, Incident, Problem, Change).
• Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically distributed leadership team.
• Promote collaboration, accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Cultivate proactive operations mindset to minimize outage risk.
• Contribute to globally aligned technology operations strategy.
