Job summary

KL&A, Engineers and Builders is seeking a Technology Operations Coordinator to serve as the internal partner for day-to-day technology operations. Based in Colorado, this role collaborates with staff and our outsourced IT partner to manage licenses, assets, and procurement.

The successful candidate will document workflows, build budgets, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences while supporting firm-wide technology initiatives and growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; further education or certifications preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in technology operations, IT coordination, or business operations.
• Exposure to asset management or procurement processes; BIM familiarity is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation for multi-office operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware assets across all locations.
• Manage software licensing and track renewals, usage, and compliance.
• Maintain vendor contracts, warranties, and service agreements.
• Track technology metrics and develop refresh schedules to support leadership decisions.
• Develop budgets and forecasting tools for hardware assets and licensing.
• Coordinate technology procurement and onboarding/offboarding checklists.
