Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital seeks a Licensing Manager to identify licensing opportunities, negotiate agreements, and manage external partnerships for technology commercialization. The role focuses on translating scientific outputs into business-ready opportunities and aligning with campus innovators.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), 2+ years in technology transfer or related fields, and strong communication to educate inventors about commercialization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; master's preferred.
• Two years of related experience in technology transfer or licensing preferred.
• Experience with contract management and NDAs a plus.
• Knowledge of IP law and Bayh-Dole Act is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Identify licensing opportunities and solicit external partners.
• Draft and negotiate licensing and optioning agreements.
• Build and maintain a network of business partners locally and internationally.
• Prepare technical summaries and reports on licensing activities.
• Advise inventors on commercialization strategies.
• Develop policies and annual technology strategies.
