UNH Innovation seeks a Senior Technology Licensing & Commercialization Manager to advance UNH research, inventions, and IP toward practical use and public impact. The role independently manages a portfolio from disclosure through commercialization strategy, market engagement, licensing, startup formation, and post-transaction stewardship.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business, science, engineering, law, technology, or a closely related field.
• At least five years of relevant professional experience in technology transfer, licensing, commercialization, business development, intellectual property, industry partnerships, biotechnology, engineering, or a related area.
• Demonstrated experience evaluating technical opportunities and identifying feasible commercial pathways.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating, structuring, or managing technology-related agreements or business transactions.
• Experience building productive relationships with companies, entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, attorneys, or other external stakeholders.
• Strong written, oral, analytical

Responsabilidades

• Independently manage an active portfolio of technologies from disclosure through commercialization strategies.
• Lead or support licensing negotiations, options, and related transactions.
• Develop deal structures balancing university and inventor interests with market needs.
• Coordinate with patent counsel, legal, and internal stakeholders on protection and filing strategies.
• Engage with industry partners, startups, and investors to advance opportunities.
• Monitor progress, milestones, and obligations; provide regular portfolio updates to leadership.
