Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital seeks a seasoned contracts professional to support the Technology Transactions Office. You will draft, review, and negotiate academic and industry agreements, licenses, and MTAs, ensuring compliance with hospital policy and applicable laws.

You will work to secure transfer of hospital technology to external partners and manage complex negotiations with multiple stakeholders. The role requires at least a JD or doctoral degree and four years of relevant experience in

Qualifications

• Doctorate/JD degree required.
• Minimum 4 years in technology transfer, contract negotiation, or law.
• Strong written and oral communication; prompt email response.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a matrix organization.
• Experience leading teams drafting and negotiating MTAs and CDAs.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate academic and industry collaboration agreements.
• Negotiate inter-institutional agreements and licenses.
• Provide negotiation support with outside parties without supervisor guidance.
• Train and supervise junior specialists and oversee team activities.
• Ensure compliance with BCH IP policies and applicable laws (HIPAA, GDPR).
