Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital seeks a Technology Licensing Specialist to identify and manage licensing opportunities and to cultivate relationships with external partners to advance technology commercialization.

You will draft and negotiate licensing and optioning agreements, translate complex scientific language into clear business terms, and develop strategic plans across local, national and international markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Master’s degree preferred in science, CS, engineering, or business.
• Experience in technology transfer licensing and contract negotiation is essential.
• Experience with software/healthcare tech commercialization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, solicit, and manage licensing opportunities for new technologies.
• Draft and negotiate licensing and option agreements translating science into business terms.
• Build and maintain a network of local, regional, national and international partners.
• Prepare technical summaries, conference presentations, and reports on licensing activities.
• Establish and maintain policies and procedures for evaluating and marketing technology.
