Job summary

M&T Bank is seeking a specialist in Corporate ReUse to manage the project queue and oversee hardware/software configurations for corporate technology equipment. You will act as the primary contact for clients in selling refurbished devices and coordinating deployments.

Responsibilities include tracking inventory, coordinating vendor interactions, and ensuring adherence to risk and regulatory standards while promoting best practices within the department.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years higher education and/or work experience.
• Strong understanding of system development and infrastructure lifecycle and architecture.
• Verifiable knowledge in vendor technologies and IT service management.
• Able to gather, document, and analyze system requirements from clients.
• Willing to obtain HP Desktop/Workstation service certification within 6 months.
• Willing to obtain CompTIA A+ CE certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technology management, senior engineers and support teams to manage disposition of technology equipment.
• Coordinate Service Now orders, tickets, and enhancement discussions with product owners.
• Oversee discovery, transport and evaluation of unused bank equipment for potential resale.
• Refurbish salvageable items for sale and participate in refurb goods retail to employees and external parties.
• Produce daily inventory reports ensuring supply meets corporate volume demands.
• Interact with clients to understand needs and recommend suitable equipment.
• Lead meetings with vendors and coordinate vendor resources as needed.
• Promote industry best practices and help implement new policies.
• Maintain knowledge of bank applications, systems development environments and vendor technologies.
