Job summary

M&T Bank Corporation seeks an Infrastructure Resilience and Recovery Analyst IV to serve as a senior SME in technology resilience. You will guide recovery planning, lead reviews, and coordinate with technology and business continuity stakeholders to strengthen recoverability across applications, infrastructure, platforms, and services.

You will design exercises, analyze recovery objectives, and deliver executive-ready reporting while mentoring colleagues and promoting standardized practices

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in technology infrastructure or resilience fields.
• Experience with disaster recovery program execution, plan reviews, and exercises.
• Knowledge of cloud/hybrid recoverability, including Azure services.
• Understanding of RTO/RPO/MTD, BIA, AIA and related concepts.
• Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 apps and data-visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, assessment, and validation of resilience for critical apps and infrastructure.
• Review Technology Recovery Plans, recovery procedures, dependencies, and strategies.
• Facilitate architecture reviews to evaluate recoverability and single points of failure.
• Assess cloud and on-prem recovery capabilities; recommend improvements.
• Design and run complex disaster recovery exercises with objectives and after-action reviews.
• Translate business continuity requirements into actionable recovery solutions.
• Develop executive reporting on recovery readiness and gaps.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts; ensure knowledge sharing and quality.
• Ensure compliance with risk and regulatory standards.
