Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Master's degree strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive technology leadership at a senior executive level.
• 5+ years supervising senior managers or directors and managing large technology budgets.
• Experience with cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, and digital modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead BCIT's executive technology portfolio across Applications, Information Security, Infrastructure, Public Safety Services, and Digital Services.
• Provide strategic direction, architecture governance, and risk management aligned with city priorities.
• Represent BCIT in budget hearings, audits, and legislative briefings with an emphasis on security and resilience.
