Job summary

Altria is seeking a Manager, Technology Delivery in Richmond, VA to lead delivery, support, and modernization of enterprise laboratory and regulatory technology. You will manage vendor partnerships, drive project execution, and ensure systems remain secure and compliant.

The role requires extensive IT leadership in regulated environments, ownership of SDLC/CSV/QMS processes, and strong collaboration with Regulatory Affairs and Lab Services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data management solutions, computer technology, or related field; master's preferred.
• 8+ years in IT and related fields with leadership responsibilities.
• 3+ years leading technology projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Experience running contract resources, consulting engagements, vendor partnerships, and SOW oversight.
• Knowledge of Regulatory Affairs submission processes and laboratory operations, data, and workflows.
• Experience with laboratory informatics platforms (ELN, LIMS, CDS, SDMS) and related integrations.
• Familiarity with regulated environments and compliance frameworks (SDLC, CSV, QMS, 21 CFR Part 11).

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery and support of digital solutions for lab operations and regulatory tech.
• Oversee multiple technology initiatives with planning, risk management, and delivery oversight.
• Direct daily activities of contract/outsourced/offshore resources; ensure accountability and quality.
• Manage vendor relationships, SOWs, and contracted outputs to meet business goals.
• Ensure alignment to SDLC, CSV, QMS, data integrity and regulatory requirements; collaborate with stakeholders.
