Job summary

Altria, based in Richmond, VA, seeks a Manager, Technology Delivery to lead the enterprise laboratory and regulatory technology solutions. You will guide vendor partnerships, drive program execution, and ensure systems stay secure, compliant, and scalable in a regulated environment.

You’ll oversee SDLC alignment, manage contract resources, and partner with Regulatory Affairs, Lab Services, and Quality teams to translate business needs into effective tech solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in data management, computer technology or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years in IT with leadership responsibilities.
• 3+ years leading technology projects delivering on scope, schedule and budget.
• Experience running contract resources, consulting engagements, and SOW oversight.
• Knowledge of Regulatory Affairs submission processes and lab operations.
• Experience with laboratory informatics platforms (ELN, LIMS, CDS, SDMS).
• Familiarity with SDLC, CSV, QMS, 21 CFR Part 11 and related regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and collaboration to translate technical concepts to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery and support of digital lab and regulatory technology solutions.
• Direct multiple initiatives and programs with planning, prioritization, risk management, and oversight.
• Drive infrastructure modernization to maintain security and compliance.
• Manage day-to-day activities of contract, consulting, outsourced, and offshore resources.
• Oversee vendor relationships, SOWs, and contracted outputs to meet objectives.
• Ensure alignment to SDLC, CSV, QMS, data integrity and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Lab Services, Quality, and Enterprise Technology customers.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, technologies, and performance.
