The role
We are looking for an outstanding and diligent Technology Commercial Legal Counsel with an excellenttrack record, a strong work ethic, and exceptional attention to detail to join our dynamic Legal team based in Austin,Texasor New York.
You will take ownership of drafting, reviewing, and negotiating worldwide agreements that underpinTavily’sbusiness operations, while ensuring our compliance with global privacy and data protection regulations.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Own the drafting, review, and negotiation of a wide range of customer-facing and commercial agreements, including:
- Customer-related transactions, such as SaaSAgreements, Reseller Agreements,and Service Level Agreements.
- Act as the primary legal partner for Go-to-Market teams, providing practical, business-oriented advice throughout customer negotiations.
- Support and enhanceTavily’sprivacy and data protection program, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and other global standards.
- Review and negotiateDPAsand provide ongoing legal guidance on privacy matters.
- Procurement-related transactions with various vendors and partnership agreements.
- Drive complex, cross-border, and strategically important transactions involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Advise internal stakeholders on local legal and regulatory considerations, translating regional requirements into practical guidance for global teams.
- Build and continuously improve regional contract templates, playbooks, legal processes, and guidance materials as the business scales.
We expect you to have:
- Bar admission in the U.S., EU, or Israel.
- LL.B. or equivalent law degree from atop-tier university.
- Strong experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements, particularlyFortune 500customer-facing contractsunder pressure.
- 4-9 years of experiencepostinternship/trainee program, practicing tech commercial and privacy law atbotha leading law firm and as in-house counsel at a tech company.
- Strong experience in drafting and negotiating technology commercial agreements (includingDPAs).
- Experience in SaaS AI companies.
- Experience with global privacy regulations (such as GDPR, CPRA, and U.S. state privacy laws).
- Experience with U.S. copyright and intellectual property laws.
- Attention to details and ability to work accurately under time pressure.

- Familiarity with global AI regulations.

Pay Transparency
We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, the level at which the candidate is hired, and geographic location, consistent with applicable law.
Base Compensation Range
$206,400 - $258,000 USD
