Job summary

West Ottawa Public Schools is seeking a skilled Technology AV Specialist to support district-wide broadcast operations and live events. You will mentor students and staff, manage studio systems, and coordinate AV setup for graduations, board meetings, and performances.

Under the Director of Technology, you will lead hardware deployments, troubleshoot AV and IT tickets, and help with Chromebook rollouts and device management across facilities. Join a collaborative Technology Department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience operating live event sound systems and broadcast gear.
• Familiarity with district-wide IT deployments and device management.

Responsibilities

• Support high school broadcasting program with studio/hardware guidance.
• Plan and operate AV for district events and live streams.
• Install and maintain AV hardware across facilities.
• Assist with Chromebooks and staff device rollouts.
• Provide technical support and documentation for AV systems.
• Develop end-user documentation and training for staff.
