Job summary

West Ottawa Public Schools is seeking a Technology AV Specialist to support district-wide audio/visual systems and the high school broadcasting program. You will oversee live production for events, install and maintain AV hardware, and collaborate with the Technology Department on IT initiatives under the Director of Technology.

The role requires technically skilled, adaptable team members who can lead AV setup for graduations, board meetings, and performances while mentoring students and staff

Qualifications

• Education or equivalent experience in media production or IT with certs preferred.
• Experience operating live event sound, broadcast switchers, and streaming platforms.
• Familiarity with classroom AV and large-scale deployments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the high school broadcasting program with studio hardware and software.
• Plan and operate AV for district events and live streaming of broadcasts.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot AV hardware across facilities.
• Assist with IT deployments and device management district-wide.
• Create documentation and train staff on AV workflows.
