Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking an Technology Assurance Associate to join our Audit and Assurance team in New Jersey. This early-career role focuses on IT audits, risk assessment, and using data analytics tools to support capital markets clients.

You will learn to document client IT processes, identify IT risks, and translate complex findings into actionable recommendations while working in-person at client sites up to three days a week.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed a bachelor’s degree in MIS/AIS or equivalent in the past 12 months.
• Exposure to ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/Workday) is preferred.
• Strong Excel, data analysis, and Power BI skills with basic AI/automation awareness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct IT audits and support capital markets with accurate financial information.
• Document client processes and IT controls, identifying risk points and controls.
• Evaluate processes against leading practices and frameworks to identify gaps.
• Test IT and automated controls, documenting procedures and results.
• Support data-driven audits using AI, BOTs, dashboards, Excel, Alteryx, SQL, Power BI.
• Assist in system implementation and digital transformations, tracking deliverables.
