Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or enrolled in a tech development program.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing, databases, presentations and email.
• Ability to learn new technical skills and work with others.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training program to develop entry-level technical skills in a specific discipline.
• Work with a mentor on-the-job training to understand technologies at the Bank.
• Shadow team members on project work and maintenance activities.
• Attend internal and external technology training sessions.
• Shadow team with after-hours support for incidents.
• Read procedures and participate in capacity planning discussions.
• Shadow in responding to and resolving incidents.
• Adhere to risk and regulatory standards and controls.
• Promote the M&T Bank brand and a sense of belonging.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
