Job summary

Wipro Limited in Sunnyvale, California is hiring a TECHNO FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT L2 in Network Engineering. You will design, implement, and execute test plans for GFiber systems and networking devices, including Routers, BNGs, OLTs, and GPON/XGSPON, and validate performance, scalability, and reliability.

The role requires 8–10 years of hands-on experience with carrier-grade networking, L2/L3 protocols, and automation.

Qualifications

Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans for GFiber systems and networking devices including Routers, BNGs, OLTs, and GPON/XGSPON.
Validate performance, scalability, and reliability of service provider networking solutions.
Experience in testing, troubleshooting, and automating networking devices.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and execute test plans for GFiber systems and networking devices (Routers, BNGs, OLTs, GPON/XGSPON).
Validate performance, scalability, and reliability of service provider networking solutions.
Work with vendors and other teams for NPI.
Identify, debug, and resolve complex issues.
Testing experience with GPON, XGS PON, OLT, Routers and Switches.
Automation coding.
Experience with testing carrier-grade networking devices.
Experience with L2/L3 protocols (Ethernet, VLANs, IP, MPLS, BGP, QoS, ISIS).
Experience with traffic generators and analyzers tools such as Ixia.
