Job summary

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot fiber optic equipment, perform OTDR testing, and handle telecom and Ethernet/SONET/IP networking tasks, ensuring reliable operation of critical network infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in network troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Experience with fiber testing, OTDR, and fiber installations.
• Familiarity with telecom transport, Ethernet, SONET, and IP networking.
• Ability to maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain fiber optic and telecom network equipment.
• Perform network testing, installation, provisioning, and maintenance activities.
• Support fiber transport, Ethernet, SONET, and IP network technologies.
• Assist with network restoration and outage response.
• Perform preventive maintenance on network and critical infrastructure equipment.
• Maintain inventory, tools, test equipment, and related documentation.
• Update maintenance records, work logs, and trouble tickets.
