Job summary

All Points Broadband seeks a network engineering leader to oversee design and engineering of our fiber GPON service delivery and access networks. You will guide planning, construction, testing, and certification of fiber-based networks, while coordinating with users and vendors to resolve issues.

The role requires deep knowledge of transport, network hardware, and security, with hands-on experience configuring firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in designing and configuring network infrastructure and transport layers.
• Ability to visualize solutions and operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong collaboration with technical operations leadership peers.
• Experience implementing and troubleshooting network devices (firewall, routers, switches, controllers).
• Proficient in creating accurate network diagrams and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, development, and construction of regional ISP networks.
• Lead engineering for fiber-based GPON service delivery and access networks.
• Coordinate planning, testing, certification, and turnup of network elements.
• Collaborate with vendors on technology solutions and drive project plans.
• Monitor network performance and perform disaster recovery as needed.
• Ensure network security measures and troubleshooting across teams.
