Job summary

Florida Eye Specialists in Jacksonville is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to perform advanced ophthalmic procedures, measurements and tests to provide physician data and support patient care.

No experience is required as we are willing to train the right person; after a 90-day probation, full-time employees are eligible for benefits including 401k and profit sharing after one year.

This position requires travel to multiple clinic locations as needed to support our growing practice.

• Basic understanding of Medical Terminology (preferably ophthalmology).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with patients and employees in a courteous, professional manner at all times.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Due to the nature of the business, this position will be required to travel to multiple locations, based on clinic needs.

After successful completion of a 90-day probationary period, Full Time employees will be eligible for the following benefits:
