Job summary

Florida Eye Specialists in Jacksonville is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to perform advanced ophthalmic procedures, measurements and tests to support physicians and patient care. This role requires travel to multiple clinic locations as needed and offers a 90-day probation period with eligible benefits after completion.

No prior experience is required; training will be provided to the right candidate. A High School diploma is the minimum education, with opportunities to grow in a busy eye

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Medical Terminology (preferably ophthalmology).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and function well in a high-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced technical ophthalmic procedures, measurements and tests to provide physician data.
