Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking a Technician III-Shop in Beaumont, TX to service and repair diesel and gas engines and hydraulic systems. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and self-motivation within a team that values growth opportunities.

Hiring Immediately Pay dependent on Experience; PAID WEEKLY!

Typical Schedule Monday – Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00PM (Overtime Eligible)

Pay Range Dependent on Experience and discretionary quarterly branch performance bonus

Location This role will be based in our shop in Beaumont, TX with the occasional need to maintenance or repair equipment in the field.

Required Skills & Experience

• A minimum 3+ years’ experience as diesel mechanic, with a construction equipment rental background preferred.
• Intermediate troubleshooting and diagnosing skills with electrical and hydraulic systems, diesel engines, including Tier 4 and aftertreatment systems.
• Experience performing major and minor repairs on diesel and gas engines, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, as well as drive trains is required.
• Must have the necessary tools you need to do the job; averaging $5,000+ in value.
• Inspect, service, and test equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform routine service on equipment which includes checking fluid levels, changing fluid and lubricating.
• Perform novice level welding repairs (MIG & SMAW).
• Prepare and maintain accurate records on the maintenance and repair of equipment, including warranty records.
• Team‑player, you work well supporting your team to achieve goals.
