Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center seeks an experienced Technician III to perform advanced technical, administrative, and supervisory laboratory duties supporting patient care and lab operations. The role coordinates daily activities, supervises phlebotomy staff, and ensures regulatory compliance, accuracy, and confidentiality of laboratory services.

Performs advanced technical, administrative, and supervisory laboratory duties in support of patient care and laboratory operations. The Technician III is responsible for coordinating daily laboratory activities, supervising phlebotomy staff, providing direct patient laboratory services, maintaining regulatory and accreditation compliance, and ensuring the availability and proper functioning of laboratory supplies and equipment. Work is performed with general direction using established policies, procedures, and professional standards, with responsibility for exercising sound judgment and ensuring accurate, timely, and confidential laboratory services.

High school or equivalent and four years’ experience. Additional job related education may substitute for required experience on a year for year basis.
Phlebotomy Certification.
