Job summary

Briggs & Stratton is seeking a Technician II to calibrate, set up, and operate measurement and test equipment for engineering projects. You will measure data, draft reports, and communicate results across teams.

Responsibilities include fabricating prototype components, recording test procedures and conclusions, and analyzing engineering data to support design improvements. On-site role based in New York with opportunities to learn and grow.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • Three years of experience working with small/large engines, engine powered equipment or industry related products.
  • Ability to set-up, calibrate and use sophisticated and or specialized measurement devices and test equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn complex engineering software.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create technical documents.
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.

NY State Compensation:

For this position, the expected base annual salary range is $46,900 -$58,600 USDcommensurate with experience. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
