The City of Harrisonburg seeks a Technician I in the Sanitation Division to support municipal solid waste collection and related operations. The role offers a full-time schedule from 7:00am to 3:30pm, with benefits and on-call standby responsibilities as part of rotating coverage.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of refuse collection experience, plus a valid CDL Class B with air brakes. Forklift certification is preferred but not required.
