Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a hands-on technician to stock the fab with chemicals, manage inventory in BAAN, and perform CDU changes and pallet jack operations. The role includes cleaning totes and preventative maintenance on CDU units, with shifts on C (Back Days).

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and strong electronics, mechanics, and tool-handling skills, plus the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot equipment independently.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Advanced knowledge of electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, computers, and hand tools.
Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.
Ability to troubleshoot and learn system concepts independently.

Responsibilities

Stock the fab with chemicals.
Manage inventory and purchases via BAAN.
Perform CDU changes and pallet jack operations.
Handle tote cleaning, recycling and preventative maintenance.
