Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. seeks a versatile technician to stock chemicals, manage BAAN-driven inventory, and perform maintenance on CDU units. This role includes pallet jack operation, tote cleaning, and compliance with safety and procedures.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and strong electronics/mechanics knowledge. Shift: C, back days; 7am-7:12pm, Thursday through Saturday and alternating Wednesdays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Advanced knowledge of basic electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, computers, calculators, and proper use of common hand tools and hardware components.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills to monitor and update equipment status, send e-mail, and obtain technical information.
• Ability to read, understand and follow electrical schematics, pneumatic and liquid flow diagrams and written technical instructions.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and ability to learn operational concepts and perform diagnostic troubleshooting.
• Ability to learn and adhere to established company and departmental policies.
• Ability to work independently.
• Capable of starting, stopping, and operating equipment within design limits.

Responsibilities

• Stock the fab with chemicals.
• Manage inventory and purchases via BAAN software.
• Barrel/Tote change out on 25 CDU’s.
• Pallet Jack operation.
• Empty tote cleaning and recycling.
• Preventative maintenance on CDU’s (Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Annual).
